Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is a 1-year diploma course pursued after the successful completion of the 10+2 level of education. This medical course involves advanced professional learning in: – Blood Banking,Hematology,Microbiology,Biochemistry,Human Physiology,etc.

Through the acquisition knowledge and the technical skills necssary,medical laboratory science students are able to successful perform testing and provide quality laboratory service.

Objectivies

The DMLT course aims at improving the qulity of the healthcare system training students in how to ideniy,inspect and test cells,tissues,and body fluids,and aid in the diagnosis,treatment,and prevention of diseases through the use of various procedures and laboratory equipment.
To produce good lab technologists, of skills,competence and integrity.
To train the students to carry out laboratory investicaions accurately and provide reliable reports to facilitate proper diagnosis and prognosis of diseases.
To make awareness on the principles underlying the organization of a clinical loboratory.
To qualify the students to get recognition and registration as medical laboratory technologist.
