About Us
The Department of Commerce with Computer Applications has been incepted in the year 2015. It is an undergraduate programme with about 180 students and a very well-versed staff. From the date of establishment, the department strives hard to bring success and development of the student community.The department provides in-depth knowledge about the subjects through holistic education. The department conducts Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops and takes students to industrial visits. The course provides dual employment opportunities in the field of both Commerce and IT. The department grooms the students as outstanding professionals in harmony with corporate expectation.
The theme of our department is “Divergent Career Starts Here” Students acquire programming skills and knowledge of business during the course, which provides opportunities in a diverse range of careers.
After completing the course our students can pursue Some of the professional jobs like Business Analyst, Budget Analyst, Financial Consultant, Computer Software Developer, Computer Programmer and App Developer.
The curriculam of our department programmes are structured and designed by Board of Studies of the Bharathidasan University. Our core point is to equip students with knowledge in both commerce as well as in computers.
Apart from the curriculum aspect we’ve also provide the Certificate Courses and Add-On Courses to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students and also we’ve provided the internship programmes.
The department hosts workshop and seminars (national and international) on a regular basis to keep students up to date on the newest advancements in the fields of commerce, banking computer applications and software.

To provide a platform to our rural communities to disseminate knowledge in the field of Computer Applications and related disciplines while also instilling social obligations.
