About Us
“Biochemistry has become the foundation for understanding all biological processes. It has provided explanations for the causes of many diseases in humans, animals and plants.”
Biochemistry is a study of chemical processes in living organisms. It includes the study of Bio-organic Chemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Human Physiology, Microbiology and Virology, Basic Immunology, Enzymology. Successful graduates of this course have a wide variety of job opportunities lined up in the relevant field.
The Department of Biochemistry was started in 1999 to foster knowledge on the subject and to teach at the post and under – graduate level.
