Anti-Ragging
The University Grants Commission vide its letter no F.1-16/2007 (CPP-II) dated June 17, 2009 has reiterated the ban on ragging of students in institutions of Higher Learning. The students are therefore directed to strictly desist from any kind of ragging.

Objectives
To forbid, prevent and eliminate the quirt of ragging including any conduct by any student whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student, or give way to rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student.
To keep track of direct and look after the functions and performance of the Anti-Ragging Squads in prevention and keep back of ragging in the institution.
